Mi nombre es Alex Castro. Soy salvadoreño residente en USA desde hace más de 30 años. Nací en San Salvador y vivi ahi hasta los 16 años. La idea detrás de la "Tiendita de Celeste" es inspirada en mi hija Celeste. Ella nació en USA y ha visitado nuestro pulgarcito ya en varias ocasiones.

Además, nuestro objetivo no es solamente ofrecer productos salvadoreños sino ser un puente entre El Salvador y los que vivimos fuera de nuestro país. Intentaremos no solo traerles productos sino historias y un espacio donde podamos recordar y celebrar a nuestro país.

La tienda de Celeste es un  espacio nos haga sentir mas orgullosos que nunca de nuestra gente, cultura, tradiciones, y un mejor futuro para las nuevas generaciones. Es un espacio 100% salvadoreño para salvadoreños tambien salvadoreños de corazón. Todos son bienvenidos.

Hi. WELCOME

My name is Alex Castro. I am Salvadoran and have been living in the USA for over 30 years. I was born in San Salvador and lived there until I was 16. The idea behind "Tiendita de Celeste" was inspired by my daughter Celeste.

She was born in the USA and has visited our little country several times. Our goal is not only to offer Salvadoran products, but to be a bridge between El Salvador and those of us living outside our country.

 We will strive not only to bring you products, but also stories and a space where we can remember and celebrate our country. Celeste's store is a space that makes us feel prouder than ever of our people, culture, traditions, and a better future for new generations. It is a 100% Salvadoran space — for Salvadorans and those who are Salvadoran at heart. Everyone is welcome.
